Sorry, not sorry

Take it as a lifestyle statement, or an interesting bit about me - last night, in the midst of sleeplessness, I found my new favorite TEDx video. (Beware, it might be deemed NSFW because of the many ducks the speaker is mentioning.)

"The bestselling author of The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck and Get Your Sh*t Together, Sarah Knight, outlines her "NotSorry Method" to stop spending time you don't have doing things you don't want to do in her humorous talk."

Why is it my new favorite? Oh, it's simple. The suppressed need for decluttering my own mind has finally arrived and this speech hit the nail right on the head. Those who know me will say how considerate and kind I am - which is how we all should be. It took me some time, but I came to the realization that by not caring - is also a form of caring. But for myself.

So, as my good friend reminds me with post-its all over our flat, from now on I will grow by watering my roots. In Sarah Knight's words, I will only allocate my fuck-budget to things that serve me.

Don't believe, watch it and experience the wind of change (sounds cult-y, I know.)
